Rowdy Vest
Co-Owner
With the goal of providing products and services designed to deter active shooters and save lives, Rowdy and Addison founded Defensify in 2020 after 28 years in law enforcement. Rowdy has served as Detective, SWAT Operator, and Police Supervisor and has undergone dozens of active shooter trainings. Rowdy was awarded the Medal of Valor for his bravery and heroic actions in an officer involved shooting in 2004.
A graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Rowdy holds a BA in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Professional Development from Amberton University.
Addison Vest
Co-Owner
With nearly a decade of window film and glazing experience, Addison has overseen installation of more than 120 commercial projects ranging in size from a single storefront to +5,000 windows in a school district serving 30,000 students. Addison holds a Bachelor's in Marketing and Advertising from Texas State University.
Jay Westcott
Project Manager
With more than 10 years of experience in construction and glazing, Jay brings his work ethic and professionalism to any project. He has successfully overseen and provided security solutions for dozens of clients throughout Texas. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree from Chadron State.
